David Powell (WR 278) played a nervous match against Marcelo Aguirre (WR 226) from Paraguay losing 4-0 (13-11, 11-7, 14-12, 11-9) on first day of competition at Olympic Games. It appeared 23yr old Aguirre, playing his 3rd Olympics, experience at an Olympics showed as he was more aggressive in his general play.
Next up for David (and Heming) will be the Teams Event where they will play Hong Kong on 13th August.
