Yang Shen (no. 1 seed) made it two State U18 Boys Singles titles in a row after defeating no. 2 seed Luke Cosgriff 3-1 in the final. Yang won Vic. Closed U18 Singles title few weeks ago.
Mahi Joshi (no. 2 seed) defeated the no. 1 seed Chrysela Gracias 3-2 in the final. This was a match where both players had the momentum with Mahi winning first two sets then Chrysela winning next two then Mahi won the last 11-6.
Another MSTT player, 9 year old Nicholas Lum was R-up in the U11 Boys Singles.
